Cashiers are used as a moment of transaction, just as confessionals were used as a transition. The Bank as Contemporary God. We worship them through money. Queues with suspicion... an intimate moment framed by a “light” set, made of wood in a public setting. If you want to communicate with the Bank, go and update your account.
